Founder and CEO Lindsey Epperly Sulek began her journey as a travel advisor in 2010. While planning travel was the root of Lindsey’s industry career, she quickly found her passion in mentoring advisors. Thanks to her time spent as an independent contractor with a personal book of business worth $5 million in sales, she quickly identified the areas of tension that modern travel advisors face.

Epperly Travel brand was launched, a company that stood for transparency, relationships, storytelling, and all of the things that the industry needed for a modern approach. The travel industry did not value transparency. Epperly Travel was dedicated to fostering a first-in-class virtual community, providing clarity around an advisor’s business practices, and tearing down the cages — the term coined to represent the old-school commission models designed to cap an advisor’s upward potential.

We started onboarding new to industry advisors through our quickly growing mentorship program The Epperly Way. Teaching people how to be travel entrepreneurs became a part of our mission.

As the pandemic rocked the travel industry, Lindsey adopted the personal mission of being a beacon during the industry’s darkest hour. At the beginning of the pandemic, she launched Nourish, a networking group designed to keep advisors engaged in meaningful problem solving during the height of the pandemic. Most recently, she launched the Travel Agent Rebuilding Series, a free 15-video resource available on YouTube, with the intention of creating meaningful dialogue to rebuild the industry stronger than before.

Epperly Travel acquired Jetset Travel, another female-founded agency that has a nearly identical brand culture and ethos to it. Our goal is to maintain a boutique spirit and bring together two innovative powerhouses to create a culture that supports and inspires travel advisors. As of 2022, the teams have come together under the Jetset World Travel brand.
